Police Log: Wheelchair User in the Road, Facebook Threats

The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Thursday, Sept. 27

5:57 p.m.: Following a motor vehicle stop on Forest at South Main streets, police were seeking a summons to charge Luis Pinguil, 28, of 32 Water St., Apt. 3, Milford, with miscellaneous motor vehicle equipment violations and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

7:00 p.m.: A caller reported a two-car crash, with no injury, on Central Street near Caffe Sorrento.

8:28 p.m.: A man reported a person in a wheelchair was traveling on the side of Medway Road, toward town, and traveling with no lights on. "Caller reports he almost struck that individual." Police spoke to the person.

9:36 p.m.: A caller reported her 13-year-old daughter was being threatened over Facebook.

10:32 p.m.: A man called police to report he was having a domestic incident with his girlfriend. Police arrested Tiffany R. McAdams, 29, of 37 Pearl St., Apt. 1, Milford, on a charge of domestic assault and battery.

Friday, Sept. 28

12:56 a.m.: A caller reported his car had been hit on Water Street, near TD's Pub. Police are seeking a summons to charge Damon Tinio, 43, of 19 Taft Ave., Mendon, with leaving the scene of property damage and failure to use care in starting, stopping or backing.

5:55 a.m.: A caller reported suspicious activity on Emmons Street, at an address that is supposed to be vacant. Police determined the property in question is not vacant, that an elderly man lives there.

8:04 a.m.: A two-car crash was reported on East Main and Medway roads, but no injuries were involved.

10:40 a.m.: A woman stopped into police headquarters to speak to an officer about threats.

11:04 a.m.: A two-car crash was reported on Main Street, near Frank's Appliance Service. No injuries were reported.

12:50 p.m.: A caller reported two females were in custody for shoplifting at Kmart.

1:58 p.m.: A woman on Pearl Street reported construction barriers were blocking her driveway. Police responded and determined this was a handicapped woman who needed to be able to get out. The Highway Department was contacted.
