Police Log: Uxbridge Man Arrested on Warrant, Woman Summonsed for Shoplifting

The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned, they do not indicate conviction.

Wednesday, March 12

At 10:07 a.m., Milford Police responded to the area of Lincoln and Sumner streets on a report of suspicious activity. Upon arrival, police arrested Matthew Tercyak, 28, of Uxbridge, on a warrant. 

At 3:02 p.m., police received a report from Medway police in regards to an erratic driver in the area of East Main Street.

At 3:44 p.m., police responded to a two-car motor vehicle accident in the area of Purchase and Fountain streets. The highway department was notified, and both vehicles were reportedly towed from the scene. 

At 3:58 p.m., police received a report from a man who entered the Milford Police Department and claimed he had an altercation with a driver and that he refused to move his vehicle and spit in his face.

At 4:15 p.m., police received a report of a child who had been allegedly left unattended in a vehicle for at least 30 minutes near Kohl's Department Store on Medway Road. 

At 5:03 p.m., a local resident called police to report a diamond ring had been stolen during the day, yet her home was not broken into. 

At 6:42 p.m., police responded to Kohl's on a report of a shoplifter. An individual reportedly left the store with a few tablets and a camera and drove of fin a blue Honda. A be-on-the-lookout alert was issued to surrounding communities and a summons was issued to one Annie Charlette of Blackstone on a charge of larceny from a building.
