Police Log: Unlicensed Operator, Car Door Found

The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Tuesday, Nov. 13

4:07 p.m.: A caller reported an erratic driver on East Main Street. The caller said they were almost run off the road near Jiffy Lube . The vehicle was gone when an officer responded.

4:44 p.m.: An officer spoke with the operator of a jeep on Central Street who was reportedly playing loud music.

6:07 p.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on Main Street. The officer then followed the vehicle to the emergency room where they were headed.

8:13 p.m.: An officer spoke to a suspicious male who was on foot in the Sacred Heart Cemetery .

Wednesday, Nov. 14

1:01 a.m.: An officer issued parking tickets for vehicles on Colonial Road and Claudette Road.

6:38 a.m.: A caller reported a two-car crash on Medway Road at Route 495. No injuries were reported but both vehicles were towed from the scene. Police are seeking a summons to charge Laura Chicaiza, 32, of 20 Main St. with unlicensed operation and failure to stop.

8:00 a.m.: Officers responded to a report of a green car door in the roadway on Ivy Lane. The Highway Department was notified.

9:43 a.m.: A caller from Colonial Drive reported that kids in the neighborhood had vandalized his vehicle.

10:01 a.m.: A caller from Ivy Lane reported that there was damage to her fence caused by a cruiser the previous night. An officer spoke with the woman who was now saying that the damage had been caused by a plow in April. The Highway Department was contacted and they were familiar with the caller because no snow fell in April. According to the Highway Department the damage was very old.

10:22 a.m.: A person went in to the Milford Police Department to report a larceny from Planet Fitness on South Main Street.

11:16 a.m.: Officers were informed to be on the lookout for a vehicle that had been stolen from Hopkinton.

1:38 p.m.: A caller reported that leaves had been pushed into the road on Muriel Lane and they were causing a hazard.
