Police Log: Two Arrested After Alleged Assault at Pinz

The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned, they do not indicate conviction.

Monday, Feb. 10

At 7:50 a.m., Milford police received a report of an erratic driver in the area of Purchase Street; a caller claimed that a vehicle passed two cars in a no-passing zone and almost hit another vehicle traveling in the opposite lane as it headed toward Hopkinton. 

At 1:23 p.m., police responded to Kohl's Department Store on Medway Road after receiving a report from store employees that they had a shoplifter in custody. Police arrested a Marlborough woman for shoplifting items worth more than $100 by concealing merchandise.

At 2:31 p.m., police charged a Milford Man on Medway Road near The Alamo for driving with an expired inspection sticker, driving with a revoked registration and driving an uninsured vehicle. 

At 5:27 p.m., the Milford Fire Department responded to Sunset Drive after receiving a report of an oven fire. Crews responded to the scene, at which a home had filled with smoke due to a small fire in the kitchen's oven.

At 5:37 p.m., Milford fire crews responded to a Jencks Road home after receiving a report of a chimney fire, but upon arrival reported that nothing had been showing, according to police records. 

At 7:11 p.m., police arrested a Hyannis man on a warrant after receiving a report from Barnstable Police requesting a well-being check on a male from that community. 

At 9:09 p.m., police received a report of a group of teenagers causing a disturbance in the area of Pinz Entertainment on South Main Street, where the group of youths allegedly entered the establishment with a bottle of alcohol. After an employee attempted to take the bottle, one of the individuals allegedly assaulted the employee. Police responded to the area and subsequently arrested Framingham residents Michael Gonzalez, 19, for assault with a dangerous weapon and and Kimberly Franco, 18, for disturbing the peace and conspiracy to intimidate a witness.
