Police Log: Trash out the Window, Beer into the Coffee Mug

Monday, July 16

3:21 p.m.: Andrew Cormier, 24, of 218 Moore St., Lowell, was arrested on two active warrants, after detectives watched three men acting suspiciously, as they entered

Tuesday, July 24

3:25 p.m.: A woman walked in to police headquarters and reported vandalism to her Ford Fusion.

4:13 p.m.: A caller at the told police someone had witnessed a hit-and-run to her vehicle, a Lincoln Towncar.

4:20 p.m.: A caller asked police to check on the well-being of her father. She said he had left a message on her voice mail and she was concerned. Police checked and he appeared to be well.

4:59 p.m.: A man called 911 in a dispute with a friend "over a ride home." The friend decided to walk home.

5:22 p.m.: A caller reported he saw an older man "empty a beer into a coffee mug and then drive away" on Depot Street. The vehicle was a Ford Fusion.

7:49 p.m.: A woman walked in to police headquarters and reported her husband had acted in a "harassing manner" during a child custody exchange.

9:25 p.m.: A caller reportd they saw a black Nissan Maxima near and someone inside was "throwing trash out their window."

9:26 p.m.: A two-car crash was reported on Main Street, near No injury was reported.

Wednesday, July 25

6:52 a.m.: A man walked in to police headquarters to request an officer to a home on Grove Street to assist with gathering some belongings from his grandmother's house.

8:14 a.m.: A man reported he was harassed by a woman as he drove by her house.

9:38 a.m.: A wallet was found on Hayward Street and turned in to police.

11:17 a.m.: Police responded to a Main Street residence where a man was threatening "to harm himself or first person he comes in contact with" according to a caller. Police checked and the man was OK.

12:21 p.m.: A caller reported three children were in a Honda Pilot for 15 minutes or more at the state's Registry of Motor Vehicles. Police checked and the children were not in the vehicle.

1:59 p.m.: Following a motor vehicle stop on Purchase Street at Farmer Circle, police arrested Anna K. Pereira, 26, of 26 Mark Dr., Milford, on charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and speeding.

3:00 p.m.: A small motorized motorcycle was found in the woods near Pheasant Circle and turned in to police.
