Police Log: Tickets for Winter Parking Ban, Parking in Fire Lane at Target

The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. When arrests are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, Dec. 13

12:34 a.m.: A 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt was repossessed.

3:42 a.m. to 5:06 a.m.: Police ticketed 14 cars for violating the winter parking ban. Officers were on East Main, Water, Spring, Main, Jefferson, Forest, Fruit, and Oliver streets, Westley Court, and Vassar Drive.

1:23 p.m.: A caller reported his wallet was stolen and his car was ransacked on East Main Street. He said he did leave his car door unlocked.

3:01 p.m.: A caller said a large amount of construction debris was being dumped on Camp Street at Pine Island Road. Police found granite curbing and sand.

4:07 p.m.: EMTs responded to a home on Morey Way, where a 19-month-old boy had hit his lips on a night stand and was bleeding.

5:36 p.m.: Police responded to Target, where security reported a vehicle had been parked outside the main entrance for 45 minutes. Police ticketed the car.
