Police Log: Suspicious Youths Seen on Dilla Street Bike Path

The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned, they do not indicate conviction.

Tuesday, May 27

At 12:01 a.m., Milford Police received a report of youths on the back of a pickup truck on Casey Drive. The vehicle was reportedly located in a driveway. 

At 2:43 a.m., police placed a Framingham man into protective custody after responding to a report of an unwanted person in the Prospect Heights area.

At 7:50 a.m., police responded to the area of the Comfort Inn on Fortune Boulevard on a report of a two-car accident. 

At 12:58 p.m., police received a report of a wire down in the roadway coming from a house on Amherst Drive. The wires were reportedly telephone wires.

At 1:01 p.m., police received a report of a group of youths in their late teens or early 20s had been looking in vehicles along the bike path on Dilla Street. 

At 2:17 p.m., police received a report that someone had dumped mulch in the street on Sunset Drive. Officers responded and found no hazard; the mulch was removed. 

At 2:38 p.m., police responded to a report of a two-car accident on East Main Street. No injuries were reported. 

At 4 p.m., an individual requested to speak to an officer for threats reportedly made over Facebook.

At 5:58 p.m., police received a report that a drum cymbal had been taken from a home on South Central Street. 

At 6:40 p.m., police received a report of loud music in the area of South Main and Orchard streets. 

At 9:01 p.m., a caller reported that his daughter was the victim of a hit and run accident in the area of CVS on South Main Street.
