Police Log: Suspicious Bag Found in Shopping Cart Near ATM

The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned, they do not indicate conviction.

Tuesday, April 1

At 2:44 a.m., Milford Police received a report that two men were seen staggering through the parking lot of Rite Aid on Prospect Street and harassing customers. One man was reportedly wearing a black jacket, while the other was described as wearing a New England Patriots jacket. 

At 8:10 a.m., police received a report of a shopping cart with a duffle bag inside that was close to a Bank of America ATM on Prospect Street. Police determined the items in the car belonged to a Milford resident.

At 5:40 p.m., police received a report of an erratic driver in the area of East Main and Main streets, where a black GMC pickup track with a campaign sign was reportedly seen tailgating and speeding.
