Police Log: Son Steals from Dad, Boy Tattles on 5-Year-Old-Brother

The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Monday, Sept. 10

2:19 p.m.: A man went to the lobby, reporting his son stole from him. Police are seeking a summons to charge Jean Santana, 32, of 38 West St., Milford, with larceny over $250.

4:27 p.m.: A caller from West Street said her mother was out of control, striking herself and destroying items in the apartment. Police requested the  to take the woman to the hospital.

5:59 p.m.: A caller from Main and Prospect streets reported the driver of a Ford pickup truck was littering while driving. Police were unable to locate the truck.

6:54 p.m.: A caller from Water Street said his 5-year-old brother was picking on him. The caller said he and his brother were home alone. Police responded and found the kids were playing a game with the phone.

7:52 p.m.: An ambulance was requested to respond to Gold's Gym for a man having a seizure in the aerobics room. The man was known to be combative when coming out of seizures.

Tuesday, Sept. 11

1:38 a.m.: Police requested a tow for a 2000 Dodge Caravan that had been sitting in the Pond Street Lot on Main Street for a month. Police are seeking a summons to charge Priscilla Sampaio, 32, of 120 Pleasant St., Apt. 205, East Watertown, with abandoning a motor vehicle.

1:45 a.m.: Police are seeking a summons to charge Michael J. Keough, 51, of 15A Country Club Ln., Milford, with having an uninsured motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration and speeding.

2:48 a.m.: A disturbance was reported at a Water Street apartment. Police responded and are seeking a summons to charge Demetrius Williams, 20, of 22 Water St., Apt. 2, Lynn, with keeping a noisy and disorderly house.

6:48 a.m.: Police were doing radar on Beaver Street and issued four citations.

6:57 a.m.: Police received a call about a car hitting a parked car at West and High streets. Police are seeking a summons to charge Samantha A. Abrego, 22, of 23 Luby Ave., Milford, with leaving the scene of property damage.

10:20 a.m.: Police spoke with a woman who was going to be going to the station to file a statement about an incident and restraining order violation. Police are seeking a summons to charge Ryan K. Palmer, 27, of 89 Congress St., Milford, with violating an abuse prevention order, intimidating a witness, threatening to commit a crime, breaking and entering in the nighttime for a felony and assault and battery to intimidate, with bodily injury.
