Police Log: Small Child in Pajamas on East Main Street

Sunday, Sept. 8
6:57 p.m.: A two-car crash was reported on West Street near Westley Court. Police were seeking a summons to charge Luis Pinguil, 29, of 4 Clark St., Apt. 1, Milford, with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
8:06 p.m.: A fire in a kitchen was reported on Exchange Street. Police shut off access to Exchange Street while firefighters responded.
8:37 p.m.: A tractor-trailer was blocking the intersection at Cedar and East Main streets.
8:42 p.m.: Upton Police asked for Milford assistance in finding two hot rods. One was described as "flat black" and the other was yellow, possibly a roadster open-hood design. Upton Police asked Milford to stop them and hold for questioning about a crash in that town.
Monday, Sept. 9
4:26 a.m.: A caller said a man was walking around the Cornerstone at Milford property on Birch Street with a bag. Police checked and everything was OK.
4:30 a.m.: Milford Regional Medical Center asked for police help with an emergency room patient who was being unruly.
8:23 a.m.: A caller said a 3-year-old boy was unattended near East Main Street, wearing his blue pajamas. He had a scooter and was in the area of Oliva's on the opposite side of the road. Police responded but the tot was gone.
9:49 a.m.: Hopedale reported a crash involving a tractor-trailer and a car at Route 16 and 140. Fluids were in the road, although no one was injured.
12:12 p.m.: A priest at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church asked police to check on the well-being of an elderly parishioner. The woman was OK.
1:08 p.m.: A woman was found unresponsive in a car in the parking lot of Shaw's Supermarket. She was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center.
1:27 p.m.: Police were investigating a report of a restraining order violation. Police are seeking a court summons to charge Charles F. Roy Jr., 33, of 38 East St., Apt. 1, Milford, with violating an abuse prevention order.
2:17 p.m.: Northbridge Police asked for Milford to look for a vehicle involved in the theft of two TVs from Wal-Mart in that town. Police checked the registration address but the car was not there.
2:26 p.m.: An officer pulled over a GMC Sierra matching the description out of Northbridge. The driver checked out OK.
4:40 p.m.: A bicyclist turned in a wallet he found while riding on Main Street.
4:48 p.m.: Police responded to Kmart, for a report of shoplifting. Police arrested Terri Ann Brochu, 43, of 2208 Providence RD., Apt. A, Whitinsville, on a charge of shoplifting by concealing merchandise, second offense.
4:49 p.m.: A woman said her cell phone was stolen Saturday at the Portuguese Club during a birthday party. The phone was traced to Chelsea, she said, and the only people from Chelsea at the party were the people from a company that delivered the cake.
6:36 p.m.: Police pulled over a Ford Focus on Medway Road at East Main Street. Police are seeking a summons to charge Maria Patrina Tacuri, 33, of 44 S. Main St., Milford, with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and a child under age 5 without a car seat.
9:41 p.m.: A caller said it sounded like a domestic assault above her on Green Street. She said she could hear screaming back and forth and children were crying. The officer reported the noise was a mother trying to put her child to bed. He was not cooperating.
