Police Log: Roosters Waking up the Neighbors, Cars Broken into at Prezo

Tuesday, Jan. 14

7:43 p.m.: A caller at Prezo Grille and Bar reported someone's car was broken into and a laptop stolen. Two additional vehicles were broken into in the lot, the officer discovered, via smashed windows.

8:40 p.m.: A caller reported a group of youths was behind the SEI Bella building on West Street. They tend to leave trash, the caller said.

10:02 p.m.: Hopedale Police asked for a BOLO on a man wanted for questioning in a vandalism incident.

10:05 p.m.: Holliston Police asked Milford Police to check on a pregnant woman who had reportedly taken drugs and was said to be at Target. She could not be found.

10:29 p.m.: A caller said he had received a threatening note at his door.

Wednesday, Jan. 15

12:06 a.m.: Police and EMTs responded to South Main Street, where a 17-year-old had reportedly overdosed. The person was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center.

5:29 a.m.: A caller on Roland Way said his neighbor's roosters had been disturbing the peace since 4:30 a.m. Police responded but the owner of the house pulled out as officers were arriving. He tried to speak to the caller, but no one answered at the door. The police officers did not hear roosters when they arrived at 5:44 a.m.

9:48 a.m.: Four tablets were taken from Kohl's Department Store.

11:09 a.m.: A caller at West Street Liquors said the store received a call from a person claiming to be from National Grid, who said they were shutting off the electricity. Caller also spoke with National Grid and let them know about the scam.

1:19 p.m.: A caller said the housekeepers at Holiday Inn Express heard a crash in one of the rooms, and then heard screaming. Police responded and spoke to and removed several people.

2:19 p.m.: A caller on Cedar Street reported a two-car crash on the ramp to I-495. The caller said her grandmother hit her head and was feeling dizzy. State Police were handling.
