Police Log: Repossessions, Domestic Assault

The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, Dec. 26

2:13 p.m.: A caller reported a dark colored pickup truck driving erratically on Route 109 heading toward Interstate 495. Police were not able to locate the vehicle.

5:55 p.m.: A caller complained that solicitors were in front of Pizza Palace. She said they were swearing loudly. Police responded and spoke with the business owner, after finding no one in front of the building.

6:18 p.m.: A woman reported she was filmed by someone when she pulled out of her driveway on Congress Street.

6:32 p.m.: A woman asked police to perform a well-being check on her cousin. Police checked and he was OK.

6:53 p.m.: A caller reported he could hear two men fighting on Naples Street, then said he heard three loud bangs that sounded like gunfire, and glass breaking. Police responded and found a domestic but no gunfire. One man left on foot.  An ambulance was called for a woman. Police arrested Duncan Spagnol DeFaria, 17, of 18 Naples St., Milford on a charge of domestic assault and battery. Police are seeking a summons to charge Amanda K. DeFaria, 20, of 8 Naples St., Milford, with domestic assault and battery.

9:20 p.m.: A Mazda Tribute was repossessed on Court Street without incident.

9:55 p.m.: A caller reported a blue Scion and a silver Chrysler were doing donuts in the parking lot of TGI Friday's. Police gave the drivers a warning.

Thursday, Dec. 27

2:17 a.m.: A Toyota Rav4 was repossessed on Congress Street without incident.

9:13 a.m.: Wires were reported down on Muriel Lane.

10:08 a.m.: A woman fell on the sidewalk outside Momentum Physical Therapy. She sustained a laceration to the forehead and was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center.

12:20 p.m.: A woman walked in to police headquarters to report someone was posting things on the internet about her.

2:29 p.m.: A man reported his portfolio was stolen at Workforce Central Career Center.

2:45 p.m.: A two-vehicle crash was reported on Main at Sumner Streets. An ambulance responded.
