Police Log: Playing Field Collision, Out of Control Patient at ER

Sunday, Sept. 29

6:27 p.m.: Police and EMTs responded to Milford High School, where two people ran into each other while playing a sport. At least one person was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center.

8:07 p.m.: A caller said her parents were fighting, although only verbal at that time. Police responded. An officer reported this was a distraught child upset over the way her step-father had talked to her.

11:25 p.m.: Three to five men were reported to be arguing in the street on Franklin Street.

Monday, Sept. 30

7:21 a.m.: Officers were collecting evidence of vandalism reported at the Fino Field Pool.

10:30 a.m.: A caller reported a statue was stolen from the property on Reservoir Road, and asked to speak to an officer. Police reported the item was recovered.

10:48 a.m.: A caller at a Milford Regional Medical Center building on South Main Street reported graffiti on the entrance doors.

10:51 a.m.: A caller at Kohl's told police an older woman with blonde hair and jeans had shoplifted.

3:50 p.m.: Officers responded to North Bow Street, where two women were yelling at each other in the parking lot next to Rivera's gym.

4:48 p.m.: A woman on West Street reported her son and ex-husband had just had an argument.

8:03 p.m.: Three officers responded to Milford Regional Medical Center, where a patient was out of control.

Tuesday, Oct. 1

8:59 a.m.: A caller on Purchase Street reported wires were down in the southbound lanes. Police found low hanging wires.

10:19 a.m.: A woman was in the police headquarters lobby, to report that someone stole prescription medications from her home. Police are seeking a summons to charge Nichol Gozales, 32, of 46 Mill Pond Cir., Apt. 1, Milford, with larceny from a building.

10:30 a.m.: An officer was at Milford High School, taking a report about threats being made.

10:48 a.m.: A caller reported people were playing with a pitbull off its leash in the middle of Claflin Street. Before police responded, the man called a second time, extremely upset and yelling that the kids were still in the middle of the road. An officer who responded reported the kids were removed from the street.

11:35 a.m.: Police responded to McDonald's on Medway Road, where a mother and daughter were arguing in the parking lot. The women left before the officer arrived.

11:45 a.m.: Police responded to Milford Regional Medical Center, where a man was in the hospital building making threats toward a "crackhead in Framingham" who was a patient in one one of the rooms.

12:52 p.m.: A 20-year-old woman was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center from the lawn outside Milford Nissan. She may have had an overdose. She told EMTs she had had brain surgery recently.

4:04 p.m.: A woman asked police to check on the well-being of her mother, who she had not heard from since the morning. Police checked and the woman was fine and said she would call her daughter.
