Police Log: Pizza Employee Reports Threats, Copper Pipe Stolen from School Street House
The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. When arrests are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.
Sunday, Jan. 5
2:42 p.m.: A woman reported a family member had stolen her laptop and would not give a family car back. Police are seeking a summons to charge Daniel J. Bowzer, 26, of 19 Lena LN., Milford, with larceny over $250.
3:07 p.m.: An employee at Pizza Palace reported being threatened by a customer over the phone, over an incorrect order. Police spoke to the people involved.
3:47 p.m.: A caller on East Main Street said his tenants were arguing. The argument was between a man and a woman. The dispatcher could hear screaming. Police responded and filed a report.
4:03 p.m.: A caller asked police to remove her brother due to an argument they were having over him paying rent.
6:32 p.m.: A caller reported a woman was wearing black clothing, and walking in the right travel lane on Medway Road, heading toward town. Police responded but the woman was gone.
7:41 p.m.: A 31-year-old man fell down five stairs at a home and couldn't get up. Police responded and he was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center.
8:09 p.m.: Officers responded to East Main Street with a warrant. Police arrested Nehemiah O. Gonzalez, 22, of 109 E. Main St., Apt. 1, Milford, on a warrant.
9:03 p.m.: A caller said an older man had fallen in the middle of Purchase Street. Police helped him into his home.
Monday, Jan. 6
7:45 a.m.: A wallet was found on Central Street and turned in to police.
8:32 a.m.: A caller on School Street said copper pipe had been cut from the basement.
5:20 p.m.: A caller said she was receiving threatening messages. Police are seeking a summons to charge John J. Moosey, 26, of 1 Grove St., Apt. 2, Milford, on a charge of violating an abuse prevention order.
5:37 p.m.: A caller at Old Time Auto Sales reported check fraud.
5:51 p.m.: A caller at West Street Liquors said a white van had backed into her and then left, heading toward Shaw's. Police are seeking a summons to charge Paul A. Morin, 21, of 5 Prospect Heights, Milford, with leaving the scene of property damage.
Tuesday, Jan. 7
6:39 a.m.: Water was pouring out over the road at Dilla and Purchase streets. Police responded.
7:37 a.m.: An officer asked for Highway Department assistance in treating Fiske Mill Road for icy conditions.
10:09 a.m.: An officer reported water was coming up from a drain in the road on West Street. Milford Highway was notified.
