Police Log: People Passed Out in Cars, Arrests

The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Friday, Nov. 23

7:11 p.m.: A woman outside St. Mary of the Assumption Church said her husband was threatening her. The husband and wife were separated at the time of the call. The man fled the scene in a red Ford SUV.

8:24 p.m.: A police officer spoke with teens, loitering outside Planet Fitness.

9:04 p.m.: Police responded to Main at Exchange streets, where a woman who was 9-months pregnant was involved in a crash. She had head and neck pain, but refused medical treatment at the scene.

10:26 p.m.: An employee at Papa Gino's called police after a man went into the bathroom, an hour before, wearing a backpack. He had not come out of the bathroom or answered the door. Police responded, and requested an ambulance to assist. The man refused treatment at the scene.

10:38 p.m.: A caller reported a customer was locked inside Storage Pros, on Fortune Boulevard. Police checked and everything was OK.

10:49 p.m.: A caller reported vehicles were spinning tires in the parking lot at Milford High School.

Saturday, Nov. 24

12:21 a.m.: Police responded to McDonald's on South Main Street, where a man was passed out behind the wheel of a silver Saab. He was taken into protective custody.

12:25 a.m.: An officer dispersed a group of kids outside Mobil on Medway Road.

5:28 a.m.: A caller in a grey van said she was being followed on Prospect Street by a Volkswagen Jetta. The suspect vehicle took a turn on to Water Street. Police pulled over the suspect vehicle. It was a misunderstanding.

7:32 a.m.: A caller reported her husband would not leave her alone. The caller said he was not being violent. Police responded and determined this was a verbal altercation.

11:16 a.m.: A caller reported a silver Ford Ranger with a construction type back was swerving all over the road on Pine Island Road. Police could not locate the vehicle.

11:33 a.m.: A two-car crash was reported on East Main Street at Churchill Street. No injury was reported.

11:39 a.m.: A man reported his stove was on fire, on Claudette Drive. The fire was extinguished.

12:41 p.m.: A two-car crash was reported on Medway Road near 495 Rental Center. A man reported neck injury and was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center.

2:19 p.m.: A man reported a grey Ford Focus hit his car and then headed up Hayward Street. Framingham Police were contacted, and were able to get a phone number for the owner of the vehicle that fled. Police are seeking a summons to charge Christopher Morse, 25, of 14 Swanson Rd., Framingham, with leaving the scene of property damage.

4:05 p.m.: A caller on Shadowbrook Lane reported she was kicked by her father.

4:05 p.m.: A two-car crash with no injury was reported near Maria's Italian Villa. Police are seeking a summons to charge Juan Espinoza, 25, of 30 Main St., Apt. 2, Milford, with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

6:09 p.m.: A caller reported she found a dent in her driver's side door when she left Bed Bath & Beyond.

11:42 p.m.: A two-car crash was reported on Main at South Main streets. No injury was reported. Police arrested Domingos C. Decastro, 33, of 4 Plain St., Apt. 1, Milford, on charges of OUI Liquor, second offense, and failure to stop or yield. Both the Pontiac Grand Prix and the Toyota Camry were towed.

11:53 p.m.: A 23-year-old woman was reported to be passed out in a Honda Pilot outside Purchase Street Market. She was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center.

Sunday, Nov. 25

1:09 a.m.: Two men and a woman were arguing on foot, while walking toward Kohl's. Police were not able to locate them.

1:17 a.m.: A caller at Maria's Italian Villa reported a man had walked out on his tab. The caller provided a description of him, and his first name. Police found him and brought him back to square away the tab. According to police, a woman the man had just met had left the bill without paying.

2:08 a.m.: A man was reported to be banging on doors at an address on Mark Drive. He was possibly locked out.

9:21 a.m.: A landlord walked in to police headquarters to talk to an officer about his tenants.

9:40 a.m.: A spin-out crash on Interstate 495 resulted in injury to a woman, who was trapped in the vehicle. She was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center.

11:56 a.m.: A woman reported her father had sent a suicidal message to her, via a text message. Police tracked him down by phone. He said he was not suicidal, just upset over things. He refused to tell police where he was, but said he would speak to his daughter.

12:48 p.m.: A two-car crash was reported on Cedar Street, near the Mobil Mart. One person was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center.
