Police Log: OUI Second Offense, Loitering Youths

The following information was supplied by the Milford police department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

A driver was stopped and arrested by police about 2:30 p.m. Thursday, on OUI second offense, about an hour after a caller on Forest Street reported he was struck by a black "cop car" type vehicle that then fled the scene.

Thursday, June 7

1:58 p.m.: A caller reported he was struck by a "black looking cop car" vehicle, possibly a Ford, on Forest Street, and the vehicle took off.

2:31 p.m.: An officer made a motor vehicle stop of the vehicle, a 2004 Chevrolet Impala. Police arrested Michael David Killion, 34, of 3 Grove St., Apt. 2, Milford, on charges of OUI liquor, second offense, leaving the scene of property damage and failure to stop or yield.

2:52 p.m.: A two-car crash was reported near the loading dock at . No injury resulted.

3:23 p.m.: A disturbance was reported on Green Street. A caller could hear a woman and a male yelling. Police determined the woman was having "an argument over the phone." No one else was in the apartment with her.

4:15 p.m.: A woman reported someone took items from her home on Depot Street.

4:38 p.m.: Lightning struck the rooftop air conditioning unit of , at 125 Fortune Blvd. The building was evacuated. Firefighters responded but found no fire.

8:32 p.m.: Police responded to on Cape Road, where nine loitering youths were "making the customers uncomfortable."

9:25 p.m.: A two-car crash was reported on East Main Street and Medway Road. No injuries resulted.

9:59 p.m.: A two-vehicle crash was reported on East Main Street at Fortune Boulevard. No injuries were involved.

10:10 p.m.: A man reported he was rear-ended on Main Street, near , by a "yellow sports car with a wing on it." It was last seen heading down Main Street, toward the Post Office.

11:21 p.m.: A caller told police he was rear-ended near and the vehicle fled the scene. He had no injuries and the car sustained no damage but he requested it be logged.

Friday, June 8

1:28 a.m.: A bartender at reported a woman had vandalized the female's bathroom, and "was out back" at that time. Police filed a report.

7:02 a.m.: A two-car crash was reported on South Bow Street. No injury was involved.

7:34 a.m.: Police responded to a two-car crash on Walnut at School streets. A caller reported "the male was being physical with the female" and "aggressive towards her verbally." Police responded. Following an investigation, police are seeking a summons to charge Andres Tacuri, 18, of 9 Forest St., Milford, with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and failure to yield at an intersection.

11:00 a.m.: A report of an unattended child, about age 10, came in on Purchase Street. The boy was "hanging around" the back shed in a back yard.

1:44 p.m.: A woman walked in to police headquarters to report the theft of her prescription medicine. Nothing else was taken.
