Police Log: OUI Arrest, Third Offense

The following information was supplied by the Milford police department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

In the March 2-4 edition of the police log, officers responded to several crashes, and arrested a man who is charged with his third OUI Liquor offense, after a caller followed him down Main Street.

Friday, March 2

2:01 p.m.: A caller reported a two-car crash near No injuries were involved.

2:26 p.m.: A caller reported a minor crash at Sumner and Main streets. No injuries were involved.

2:37 p.m.: A caller told police his son was being bullied atand the kids bullying his son "have just broken his classes." An officer assigned to Milford schools responded.

2:47 p.m.: A caller on Main Street reported he was following an erratic driver, who had struck "multiple snowbanks." Police pulled the vehicle, a Volvo, over near . Police arrested Peter Joseph O'Connor, 47, of 274 Sycamore Dr., Holden, on a charge of OUI Liquor, third offense.

4:34 p.m.: A caller told police a woman and her brother were getting into a physical fight at an apartment on Shadowbrook Lane. Police responded, and transported a male to a location on Fortune Boulevard.

5:26 p.m.: Police and firefighters responded to a crash between Exits 19 and 18 on Interstate 495 Southbound. The car had two occupants. One was taken to the other refused medical treatment, according to the police narrative.

5:41 p.m.: Police rsponded to on Cedar Street for a report of a two-car crash with no injury.

9:42 p.m.: A caller asked police to remove his 36-year-old wife, who was "highly intoxicated." The woman was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center.

10:20 p.m.: A man called fromand complained he was blocked in by other vehicles.

10:59 p.m.: A caller reported that someone had ripped off one of his windshield wipers, at the on East Main Street.

Saturday, March 3

12:59 a.m.: A caller at reported a woman in her 40s had passed out, but was breathing. The woman was taken to the hospital.

2:17 a.m.: A caller reported a Hyundai struck a pole on Congress Street, at North Vine Street. No injuries were involved.

3:07 a.m.: An officer issued five tickets to cars violating the winter parking ban on Hayward Street.

3:14 a.m. to 3:20 a.m.: An officer issued citations to cars violating the winter parking ban on Water and Central streets.

10:35 a.m.: State Police relayed a call about a two-car crash on East Main Street. No injuries were involved.

12:10 p.m.: A woman walked in to police headquarters to report a stolen cell phone.

12:58 p.m.: A caller reported a child was left unattended on Pheasant Circle, wearing only a T-shirt and shorts, with no shoes. Police checked and the child was OK.

1:57 p.m.: A caller told police a car was tailgating others and "all over the road" on East Main Street. Police were not able to locate the vehicle.

2:10 p.m.: A caller told police that jewelry was missing from his home on Prospect Street.

5:02 p.m.: A caller fromreported two young males and a female ran out of the restaurant before paying. The caller observed the plate number on their vehicle, and Milford police were going to call Medway police.

7:03 p.m.: A woman reported that someone had stolen her pain medication at the emergency room at Milford Regional Medical Center.

7:15 p.m.: A car crashed into a tree near on Beaver Street. The woman refused medical treatment. The car, a 2011 Lexus, was towed. The woman was later taken to Milford Regional Medical Center under a mental health order.

9:43 p.m.: Followng a motor vehicle stop on Main Street, police arrested Patrick M. Hickey, 23, of 15 Maple St., Bellingham, on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, failure to stop or yield and possession of a Class C drug.

Sunday, March 4

1:24 a.m.: Police received a complaint about loud music and "people leaving the house intoxicated" on East Street Extension. Police spoke to the occupants.

2:25 a.m.: A caller from hotel reported a woman was intoxicated and trying to leave. Police could not locate the vehicle in Milford, and contacted Holliston police.

4:32 a.m.: A caller told police her brother had attempted to assault her, and he was trying to break down the bathroom door. She was now hiding upstairs, she reported. While on the phone with her, the brother called also, and told police his sister was "out of control." Police responded to the home and reported that the sister had left the residence for the evening.

8:55 a.m.: A motorist on Main Street was observed "throwing his trash out of his car and driving erratically and taunting and yelling" at the person who called police. Police pulled the driver of the Honda Civic over, and spoke to him.

1:45 p.m.: A possible domestic incident was relayed by State Police. Officers found the male party had left before they arrived. The woman reported "they had an argument."
