Police Log: One Charged After 7-Eleven Shoplifting Incident

The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned, they do not indicate conviction.

Sunday, April 6

At 10:35 a.m., police received a complaint of landscapers blowing debris into the road way of West Street, causing a potential hazard for drivers. 

At 11:34 a.m., police received a report of a two-car accident in the area of Congress and Pine streets.

At 11:37 a.m., police assisted Uxbridge Police with an arrest for a domestic assault and battery.

At 2:10 p.m., police spoke to the rider of a mini bike off on the roadway of Silver Hill Road and Princess Pine Lane. The youth was reportedly waiting on his grandmother to pick him up.

At 2:17 p.m., police responded to 7-Eleven on a report of a man and woman who allegedly stole items from the store and left in a red vehicle. Police arrested one Joshua Patterson, 22, of Milford, for larceny of less than $250, shoplifting by concealing merchandise and a warrant. 

At 3:58 p.m., police responded to Milford High School on a report that staff at the school received regarding students who were sending a snap chat with pictures of them breaking into the school through the roof. 

At 9:55 p.m., police responded to a single-car accident in the area of Purchase Street. A pole was reportedly struck and National Grid was requested to the scene.
