Police Log: Noise So Loud it's 'Shaking Their Apartment'

The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Monday, Feb. 25

6:23 p.m.: A man walked in to police headquarters to report his iPad had been stolen.

7:32 p.m.: Police responded to where a caller said a patient's family member was out of control and threatening.

8:02 p.m.: Police responded to Mark Drive, where a caller said the people in an apartment nearby were playing their surround sound so loud "it's shaking their apartment." Police spoke to everyone involved.

Tuesday, Feb. 26

7:53 a.m.: A caller reported seeing a white SUV with NY tags in the area of Free Street and Florence Street, and she said when she drove by it, the woman inside ducked so she could not be seen.

10:10 a.m.: A caller on Medway Road reported a white van was driving erratically all over the road, crossing the yellow lines. 

11:05 a.m.: A man reported his ex girlfriend was writing checks on his account, and had no authorization to do that.

11:55 a.m.: A caller for the Wild Side Florist reported a hit-and-run that damaged one of their delivery vans.

1:15 p.m.: A 50-year-old man reportedly passed out at Hannaford Supermarket. He was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center.

2:14 p.m.: A caller told police people were walking near the street, at Louisa Lake and Dilla Street, carrying clipboards.

2:36 p.m.: An officer spoke to a man buring trash outside Salon Tashique, and advised him he had to put the fire out.

2:58 p.m.: Police responded to Pinto's Plumbing and Heating for a report of suspicious activity. Police arrested Luis Domenech, 32, of 1540 Quaker St., Northbridge, on a warrant.

3:10 p.m.: Police and firefighters returned to Main Street, Salon Tashique, for an illegal burn. The man still had not extinguished the fire and was now being unruly, an officer reported.
