Police Log: Neighbors Yelling at Each Other, Monster Truck is Missing

The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Sunday, Aug. 18

6:43 p.m.: Police received several calls about a crash involving a car and a motorcycle. The motorcyclist was still down on the ground, on Main Street. A report was filed.

7:40 p.m.: A caller at Ira Toyota reported the theft of tires from the lower lot.

11:38 p.m.: A caller said he could hear two women yelling on Pearl Street. Police responded. It was one neighbor yelling at another to turn the TV down.

Monday, Aug. 19

12:22 a.m.: State Police reported a woman was saying she had trouble with her boyfriend, and he was intoxicated. Police confirmed the address but could not make contact with the woman again, despite five attempts and a visit to the building.

6:49 a.m.: A two-car crash was reported on Fiske Mill Road. The crash was in Upton, so that department responded.

10:21 a.m.: A woman in the police lobby said her cheer squad was being harassed.

10:34 a.m.: A caller reported he had a gas motored monster truck that had fallen out of the back of his pickup that morning, somewhere in the area of Route 140. If it was found, he wanted it returned.

12:02 p.m.: An employee at Planet Aid found two purses while cleaning up, and turned them into the police. Boston Police were contacted and said they would try to make contact with the owners.

1:50 p.m.: An employee at Kentucky Fried Chicken found a wallet while closing, and turned it into police.

5:13 p.m.: A caller at Milford Regional Medical Center said a man was threatening to act out, but was not currently acting out. The caller asked police to stand by while they called a cab for him. Police responded.
