Police Log: Neighbor Throwing Trash Out the Window

The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Thursday, Nov. 29

4:45 p.m.: Firefighters investigated a report that a car traveling north on Interstate 495 was in a ditch, just before Exit 19. 

6:17 p.m.: A caller reported a two-car crash on Cape Road near Domino's. No one was injured but both vehicles were towed.

7:37 p.m.: Firefighters responded to Papa Gino's on Cape Road, where a 50-year-old man was reported to be having a seizure. He was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center.

7:47 p.m.: An employee at Sports Authority reported suspicious activity. A woman was in the store and had been there for hours, and had been in and out of the dressing room several times.

9:43 p.m.: A man reported his ex-girlfriend broke into his house while he was away on vacation, and took some of his belongings. He asked police if he could go to her house to pick up his things.

10:27 p.m.: A caller reported an intoxicated man was at and refusing to leave. Police took the man to his family.

10:30 p.m.: A theft was reported at 7-Eleven.

10:45 p.m.: A caller on Jefferson Street said a neighbor was throwing trash out the top floor of a house, and it was landing in the yard. Police spoke to the people involved.

Friday, Nov. 30

10:01 a.m.: A woman reported a landscaper was dragging leaves into her backyard, on Woodhill Street. Police determined it was not the woman's property.

10:10 a.m.: Police were called to Evergreen Center to assist with two special needs students, including one with a head injury, who were highly agitated. The parties were taken to Milford Regional Medical Center.

1:07 p.m.: A caller reported a man was pulled over the side of the road, near PiNZ, not responding. Police had to break the passenger side window to get into the vehicle. He was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center.

1:33 p.m.: A two-car crash was reported on Water Street. No injury was involved.

2:15 p.m.: A caller reported a domestic between her and her boyfriend.

3:08 p.m.: A caller asked for police help with hazardous materials in a waste basket at McDonald's on South Main Street.

3:23 p.m.: A man walked in to police headquarters to report harassment by a neighbor.

3:26 p.m.: A two-car crash was reported on Cape Road at Howard Street. No injury was involved.

3:33 p.m.: A resident on Walker Avenue said a bicycle had been there for more than two weeks.
