Police Log: Neighbor Complaints about Leaves in Street, Leaf Blowing

The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. When arrests are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, Nov. 1

5:57 p.m.: A caller said a young teenager was walking on his lawn. When he asked to speak to him, he took off running. The man thought this was suspicious and asked to speak to an officer. Police checked and found nothing.

6:00 p.m.: A caller reported an intoxicated man was refusing to leave a home. Police responded and the man had left.

6:46 p.m.: A caller reported a man wearing blue scrubs was on Dartmouth Drive claiming to be there to "save everyone." A woman then called and said a man had told her someone had broken into a house on the corner of Dartmouth and Bowdoin. She wasn't sure if the man was still inside. The man then called dispatch and said that he was walking through someone's backyard and a man started an altercation with him. He had somehow lost his shoes. Police responded. Police arrested Brett C. Eisenhauer, 28, of 101 Purchase St., Milford, on two warrants.

8:33 p.m.: A caller on Reagan Road reported a loud music complaint. Police responded and the music was turned down.

111:58 p.m.: A caller on Water Street reported a noise problem. Police restored peace.

Saturday, Nov. 2

1:47 a.m.: A caller said his girlfriend was out with a male friend, and wasn't answering her phone. The GPS on her phone had her located on Eben Street, he said. Police checked but could not find her vehicle.

8:12 a.m.: Two motorists told police that they heard a loud explosion or gun shot noise on Congress Street. An officer spoke to a person who lives on the street and said it was the Dumpsters being emptied at the school.

10:18 a.m.: A caller reported his golf clubs and a wrist watch were stolen from his unlocked car, on Park Avenue.

10:32 a.m.: Another caller from Park Street reported a theft from a motor vehicle.

12:40 p.m.: A man walked in to police headquarters and reported a theft on Birch Street.

12:46 p.m.: A caller on Spruce Street said a landscaper was blowing leaves into the middle of the street.

12:55 p.m.: A caller said a man was blowing leaves into the street on Muriel Lane.

1:27 p.m: A 30-year-old woman was in custody at Kohl's for shoplifting.

1:47 p.m.: A Fire Department brush truck was sent to Cedar Street for a report of a brush fire near Holliston's line. 

4:14 p.m.: A caller on Fruit Street Extension said his vehicle tires were slashed the previous night. He asked to speak to an officer.

5:36 p.m.: Police responded to Kohl's for a woman in custody. The store caller said she was attempting to dump all of the items in the parking lot, and the loss prevention officer was currently watching her friend. Police responded. Police are seeking a summons to charge Lynn Ann Skrzat, 53, of 141 Annmarie Dr., Bellingham, with shoplifting by concealing merchandise. Police are seeking a summons to charge Lynda Parker M. Barton, 40, of 278 Caroline Dr., Bellingham, with a warrant and with shoplifting by concealing merchandise.

5:55 p.m.: A caller on Howard Street said her neighbor has a pile of leaves, about four feet into the road. The neighbor said the leaves were causing a road hazard. Police spoke to the person with the leaves.
