Police Log: Multiple Vehicles Broken Into During Overnight Hours

The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned, they do not indicate conviction.

Thursday, March 20

At 2:30 a.m., police received a report from a man who claimed he saw a man and a woman rummage through his vehicle in the area of Deluca Road and that they took off in a blue Toyota toward Upton. The vehicle owner said that it did not appear anything had been missing at the time of the incident. 

At 7:56 a.m., police received a report that two vehicles at a location on Beach Street extension were broken into. The vehicles were reportedly unlocked at the time and GPS units were taken from within.

At 11:39 a.m., police received a report that a vehicle was broken into on Meade Street. A key and a small amount of money were reportedly taken from the vehicle. 

At 12:14 p.m., a man claiming to be a DEA agent reportedly called a local employee and said he was looking into her prescription accounts online and had some questions, but the woman reportedly had no online prescriptions and wished to inform police of the matter.

At 6:27 p.m., police received a report that a vehicle was on fire in the parking lot of TD Banknorth on East Main Street. Fire crews responded and knocked down a small fire in the engine compartment. 

At 9:07 p.m., police received a report that a vehicle hit a deer on East Main Street. The passengers of the vehicle were not injured in the incident, but the deer was reportedly moved to the side of the road for Animal Control.
