Police Log: Motorists Distracted by Main Street Fight Collide

The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. All arrests are reported. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Tuesday, July 9

3:17 p.m.: A caller on Water Street, who has called police repeatedly for the past several weeks, told dispatchers he was having a conflict with his brother over cable.

4:16 p.m.: A disturbance was reported at a physician's office on West Street. A patient at Rahim Shafa's office was reported to be acting out. Several officers responded. The patient was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center for an evaluation.

5:08 p.m: A patrol officer responded to Main Street, where motorists looking at a three-man fight on Main Street collided. One driver was from Medfield, another from Holliston. Neither was injured. 

7:25 p.m.: A woman asked to speak to an officer about her son getting bullied by a 12-year-old boy.

9:14 p.m.: A caller said her son had taken a car from her home two days ago, and had not been heard from since.

Wednesday, July 10

12:11 a.m.: A woman walked in to police headquarters to report threatening text messages. She thought she knew who had texted them.

12:18 a.m.: Youths were loitering at the Prospect Heights Park, a caller reported.

12:27 a.m.: A Toyota Tundra pickup was repossessed on Grove Street.

1:46 a.m.: A caller near Prospect Heights said people were yelling and gathering in the park by the club house. Police spoke to them.

9:57 a.m.: A caller reported an employee had sent him an email filled with suicidal statements. Police referred the call to Bellingham Police, who cover the town where the employee lives.

11:03 a.m.: A man walked in to police headquarters and said he thought he had located his stolen bike.

12:28 p.m.: A caller on Oliver Court said she saw a woman climbing through the window of a house behind hers. The woman was checking out her parent's home, police discovered.

1:17 p.m.: A man walked in to police headquarters and asked to speak to an officer about a neighbor dispute.

2:28 p.m.: A resident of Janock Road reported mailbox flags were broken on several mailboxes in the neighborhood.

3:00 p.m.: An Audi A6 was repossessed on Congress Street.

3:01 p.m.: A caller reported a Honda Civic on Shadowbrook Lane had been spray painted in green, and the tires were painted pink.
