Police Log: Milford Man Summonsed for Alleged Shoplifting at Kmart

The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned, they do not indicate conviction.

Tuesday, July 1

At 12:17 a.m., an off-duty officer called Milford Police to report a 1990 Ferrari was parked at TGI Friday's on Fortune Boulevard and taking up two handicap spots. 

At 5:03 a.m., police checked on an open side door at Milford High School after an alarm had been going off by the school's gym. The door had been propped open on arrival, and officers found that everything inside the building checked out okay.

At 9:29 a.m., police received a report that two masonry saws were stolen from a barn on Beaver Street. 

At 11:06 a.m., police responded to a report of a hit-and-run accident near Liquor World on Medway Road, where a driver reported that his vehicle was hit in the parking lot of the business. Police issued a summons to Karlen Sarkisyan, 29, of Hopkinton for leaving the scene of property damage.

At 12:52 p.m., police responded to Wales Street to help retrieve two dogs that escaped a yard on the road. 

At 12:55 p.m., police responded to Kmart on Medway Road on a report of shoplifting. Loss prevention claimed they attempted to stop a shoplifter but the suspect took off on foot. Police issued a summons to Brian Cisneros, 20 of Milford for larceny of less than $250 and shoplifting by asportation. 

At 6:03 p.m., police received a report that a motorcycle had been vandalized on Alfred Road. 

At 7:49 p.m., officers responded to the Salvation Army on Congress Street on a report of a female having allegedly taken items from the business.
