Police Log: Milford Man Summonsed After Accident on Cedar Street

The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned, they do not indicate conviction.

Monday, June 30

At 9:21 a.m., Milford police responded to a minor two-car accident involving a white pickup truck and a Honda vehicle in the area of Cedar Street and the Rte. I-495 southbound ramp. 

At 1:13 p.m., police responded to Cedar Street on a report of a motor vehicle accident with possible injury. Officers issued a summons to Jorge Ordonez, 22, of Milford, for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and failure to use care starting, stopping and backing.

At 2:43 p.m., police received a request from the Milford Court regarding a male prisoner at Milford Hospital on Prospect Street. Officers responded and found no problem at the hospital; the party was transported to the court. 

At 2:59 p.m., police responded to a report of a tent located in the rear of Vernon Grove Cemetery on Depot Street.

At 4:31 p.m., police received a report of a vehicle being struck by another on Reservoir Road; the other vehicle, a black Chevrolet sedan, reportedly drove off. Shortly thereafter, Upton police received a report of a hit and run on Crockett Road, and upon investigation police found the incidents to be related. 

At 4:51 p.m., police received a report that a vehicle was broken into on Harris Avenue. 

At 5:08 p.m., police responded to a two-car accident on Jefferson Street involving a red Toyota and a gray Chevrolet. No injuries were reported. 

At 7:58 p.m., police received a report to have youths removed from the Mother Hubbard Preschool on School Street for skateboarding in the area. 

At 8:28 p.m., police responded to the parking lot of Wendy's on Cedar Street regarding vandalism to a sign and a black vehicle in the area. 

At 10:33 p.m., police received a report that a local 17-year-old female went missing and possibly ran away. Police issued an alert and Uxbridge police were sent to do a well-being check on the teen's father's home.
