Police Log: Milford Crews Extinguish Brush Fire on Charles Street

The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned, they do not indicate conviction.

At 6:50 a.m., Milford police pulled over a vehicle in the area of Central and Depot streets, where they arrested Davi Dasilva-Folho, 50, of Milford, on charges of failing to signal and operating a vehicle with a suspended license, according to police records. 

At 6:50 a.m., police responded to the Milford Package Store on Main Street on a report that a vehicle struck a deer in the roadway. The deer was deceased upon police arrival, and Animal Control was notified. 

At 12:55 p.m., a caller reported that a trash truck had taken down a cable wire on South High Street. Comcast was notified.

At 2:50 p.m., a caller reported her neighbors' music was too loud on Claudette Drive. Police subsequently advised a resident to lower the volume of their television. 

At 5:22 p.m., police responded to a report of a two-car accident in the area of Caffe Sorrento on Central Street.

At 5:37 p.m., a caller reported a fire in the woods at the end of Charles Street. A second caller reported a fire from the Quarry Drive area. The fire was subsequently knocked down as fire crews wetted the area. 

At 9:46 p.m., Bellingham Police requested contact be made with a female in Milford regarding a vehicle that may have been involved in an armed robbery with a knife in Bellingham. 

At 10:01 p.m., police responded to a two-car accident in the area of the Purchase Street Market. No injuries were reported.
