Police Log: Maynard Man Arrested on Four Warrants at 99 Restaurant

The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned, they do not indicate conviction.

Tuesday, June 10

At 12:12 a.m., Milford police received a report that four youths were in the area of Congress Street driving a black Ford Expedition, and a caller claimed overhearing the youths talking about eggs, believing them to be up to no good. Officers responded and spoke with the youths and determined them to be minding their own business. 

At 1:10 a.m., police responded to Water Street, where a man was reportedly sleeping in a gray four-door sedan. Officers placed a Milford man, aged 31, into protective custody.

At 9:41 a.m., police responded to a two-car accident on East Main Street involving a black Toyota and a blue Subaru. 

At 11:26 a.m., a caller reported that a vehicle was vandalized Monday afternoon on Fruit Street Extension.

At 11:56 a.m., a caller reported the casing of a high-tension line hanging in the roadway on State Street. Officers contacted Verizon to handle the matter. 

At 12:38 p.m., police received a report that a vehicle had been parked in front of a Mount Pleasant Street residents for several weeks. Officers monitored the vehicle and planned to tow it if it hadn't been moved within 72 hours. 

At 12:53 p.m., a motorcyclist was transported to UMass Medical Center after colliding with a minivan on East Main Street.

At 3:43, police responded to a report of a hit-and-run accident on East Main Street near Meade Street. 

At 5:47 p.m., police responded to the 99 Restaurant on East Main Street, where they arrested an employee of the restaurant, Jose Mangual, 29, of Maynard, on four arrest warrants.
