Police Log: Man Unconscious at McDonald's, Rock Throwers at Library

Monday, Oct. 15

4:01 p.m.: A caller at Milford Town Library asked to speak to an officer about people who threw rocks at the building Friday.

4:26 p.m.: Following a motor vehicle stop on Spruce at Congress streets, police arrested Neil P. Norquist, 30, of 8 Jackie Dr., Milbury. He was charged with the following offenses: a warrant, a crosswalk violation, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, subsequent offense, operating an unregistered motor vehicle and forgery or misuse of an RMV document.

6:09 p.m.: A caller reported fraudulent use of his credit card.

6:23 p.m.: Milford Regional Medical Center staff reported a man had left the ER with his intravenous lines still in. The staff said his blood alcohol level would be normal by about 8 p.m. The caller asked police to find him because they wanted to take the IVs out. He was described as 52, wearing a light blue button-down shirt, jeans and white sneakers. Police checked the area but were not able to locate him.

7:05 p.m.: A 20-year-old man reported to be unconscious was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center from McDonald's on South Main Street.

8:11 p.m.: A caller reported a man in a Ford F-250 pickup had hit a parked car on Mt. Pleasant Street. Police requested firefighter assistance and a two truck for both vehicles. A pole also was hit, so National Grid was contacted.

9:34 p.m.: A man walked in to police headquarters to report he had seen a red truck hit another car in the parking lot behind Manhattan's. He could not provide a plate number or make on the truck. Police responded but the truck was gone.

Tuesday, Oct. 16

4:01 a.m.: A disturbance was reported at the Quick Mart on South Main Street. A person walked in to police headquarters to report four or five kids seemed to be arguing at that location. Police were not able to locate the youths.
