Police Log: Man Reports Wife Took $30K, Road Rage

The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Monday, Oct. 1

4:34 p.m.: A man reported a larceny at Big Lots. Police filed a report.

4:38 p.m.: A caller reported seeing a large group of youths on Colonial Road with two dogs "and they are yelping." The caller thought the dogs were being abused. Police could not find the youths or dogs.

6:40 p.m.: A man reported his jacket, sunglasses, keys and several cards were taken from Gold's Gym. Police filed a larceny report.

7:49 p.m.: A woman told police a vehicle was blocking her driveway on School Street.

8:46 p.m.: A man walked in to police headquarters to report a lost passport.

10:19 p.m.: A caller told police he could see two men pushing a red Toyota Corolla with a damaged front end up Sumner Street. Police determined the operator had hit a deer on I-495 South. The men would be parking the vehicle in that area.

10:28 p.m.: A man walked in to police headquarters to report his wife had taken $30,000 from his business account. An officer took a larceny report.

Tuesday, Oct. 2

5:01 a.m.: A man with heart issues was taken from Secure Self Storage to Milford Regional Medical Center.

11:49 a.m.: A woman asked to speak to an officer about fraud.

12:14 p.m.: A manager at asked to speak to an officer about a theft the previous night.

12:55 p.m.: A woman reported an Uxbridge company was soliciting on Leonard Street, and the driver of the vehicle was "just at her house trying to get her to buy a new driveway." An officer, a police sergeant and a detective responded. According to an officer, "multiple infractions and citations were given at this time."

1:08 p.m.: A woman asked to speak to an officer about a violation of a restraining order. Police are seeking a court summons to charge Sudip Sen Gupta, 30, of 17 Shadowbrook Ln., Milford, with violating an abuse prevention order.

1:29 p.m.: A motorist reported seeing a Toyota Tundra Doublecab truck "all over the road with baby not in car seat." The truck was seen in the area of South Main and Main streets. Police issued a "Be on the lookout."

2:41 p.m.: A woman reported road rage on Rolling Green Drive. She said a man was following her in a silver vehicle. He stopped following her, but she continued on to the police station to talk with an officer.

2:47 p.m.: A student with an allergic reaction was taken from Milford High School to Milford Regional Medical Center.

4:54 p.m.: Security personnel at Kohl's Department Store reported they had two women stopped for shoplifting.

4:56 p.m.: A caller reported a Toyota Camry had just run onto a lawn on Oliver Street.
