Police Log: Man Kicks Out Cruiser Window, 'Soon-to-be-Ex Husband' Keeps Ringing Doorbell

Thursday, July 18

5:46 p.m.: A caller reported her ex-boyfriend was harassing her.

6:02 p.m.: A caller said she was receiving threats from her brother and his girlfriend. She asked to speak to an officer.

6:15 p.m.: A caller on Pheasant Circle said a woman was wandering around, trying to go in and out of the buildings. Police responded and took a 33-year-old into protective custody.

6:27 p.m.: A woman walked in to police headquarters to talk to police about an issue. She had an active warrant. Police arrested Maura A. Perreira, 31, of 11 S. Main St., Milford, on a warrant.

8:06 p.m.: A caller on Luby Avenue said a man and a woman were in the stream that runs parallel to the road. Police could not find them.

8:41 p.m.: A caller on Luby Avenue said a man was walking around naked near the brook. Police responded and took a 49-year-old man into protective custody.

9:07 p.m.: A woman walked in to report the theft of her phone from the Double Bubble Laundry on Medway Road.

9:36 p.m.: A caller said a man was intoxicated and heading toward East Street. Police responded and arrested Anthony Mercer, 43, of 26 East St., Milford, on charges of disorderly conduct, assault and battery on a police officer, resisting arrest and malicious damage to a motor vehicle. An officer reported the back window of his cruiser was kicked out.

9:48 p.m.: The manager at Holiday Inn Express asked for police help in dealing with a noise complaint.

Friday, July 19

12:47 a.m.: A disturbance was reported on Fruit Street. A caller said a woman who appeared to be intoxicate was yelling in a front yard. She was wearing jeans and a tube top, and had started walking toward Depot Street. Police could not find her.

3:34 a.m.: A woman on Governors Way reported her soon to be ex-husband was at her door and wouldn't stop ringing the doorbell. Police removed him.

7:55 a.m.: Following a motor vehicle stop on Medway Road, an officer reported he was coming in with a man under arrest for attaching plates. Police arrested James A. Fullum, 55, of 122 No. Main St., Uxbridge, on charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, number plate violation to conceal ID and speeding.

1:03 p.m.: Department of Children and Families asked police to check on the well-being of a 3-month-old. The child's birth mother got out of rehab and was making threats to go take the child from the foster parents. The state was on the phone with the foster parents and lost contact abruptly, and could not get back in contact. Police checked and everything was fine at the house.

3:33 p.m.: A tree fell on Fruit Street, across the whole street, pulling down lines. Police placed safety cones around and called Comcast and the Milford Highway Department.
