Police Log: Man Drunk on Main Street, Allergic Reaction

The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Monday, Jan. 14

3:23 p.m.: A disturbance was reported at Milford High School. A caller reported an issue between several young adults and an elderly man driving a truck. Police responded.

5:02 p.m.: A caller on Chapin Street reported seeing a woman picking through trash in the area.

5:12 p.m.: A three-car crash was reported on Main Street, near Spallone and Son Menswear. An airbag was deployed in one car, but no injury was reported.

5:43 p.m.: A police officer spotted a drunken man in the middle of Main Street. Police took the 47-year-old into protective custody.

5:48 p.m.: A man with a laceration to his head was taken from Waters Corp. to Milford Regional Medical Center.

6:01 p.m.: A Spanish-speaking woman on Main Street reported a man was harassing her. Police determined no crime had occurred, but could not locate the male party involved.

6:11 p.m.: A woman on Cherry Street reported her boyfriend had attempted to kick in the door about 15 minutes before. He left on foot but was harassing her using a phone.

6:18 p.m.: Police responded to Dunkin Donuts on Main Street, where a caller said his former girlfriend had punched him in the face.

7:14 p.m.: Police responded to Dunkin Donuts on Main Street, where the manager said a disturbance had been caused by teens. Company policy required a police report be filed.

10:47 p.m.: Police received a noise complaint from a caller at Shadowbrook Condominiums, who reported he could hear noise coming from the bike trail, possibly by young teens.

Tuesday, Jan. 15

5:20 a.m.: A caller reported she had been receiving harassing phone calls through the night.

2:28 p.m.: Firefighters responded to Memorial Elementary School, where an 8-year-old boy had had an allergic reaction to milk.
