Police Log: Man Drives Nail Through Hand, Homeless Man Causes Disturbance

Monday, July 22

8:15 p.m.: A man wearing shorts, with no shirt, was stumbling in the road on Jefferson Street. Police could not locate him.

8:35 p.m.: A caller asked for police help in dealing with her 16-year-old son, who she said was out of control and destroying the apartment. Police responded.

9:35 p.m.: A woman walked in to police headquarters and asked to speak to an officer about harassing emails.

10:02 p.m.: A caller asked to speak to officers about harassing text messages and phone calls from her daughter's ex-boyfriend.

10:47 p.m.: The ex-boyfriend in the call above called police and said his ex-girlfriend's new boyfriend was threatening to shoot him if he continued to talk to her. The caller wanted the information logged.

Tuesday, July 23

5:24 a.m.: A woman reported her cell phone was stolen from her car at Tedeschi the previous day.

9:09 a.m.: A caller reported a homeless man was causing issues and disturbing people near First Unitarian Universalist Church.

11:21 a.m.: A woman reported she and her friend were being harassed by a woman who has a harassment order against the friend.

11:59 a.m.: A man walked in to police headquarters to report a homeless man was living on the side of Morin's Studio.

12:23 p.m.: An officer on Whitney Street arrested Paul Clifford, 25, of 28 Hilltop St., Apt. 1, Dorchester, on a warrant.

2:12 p.m.: A man at Milton CAT reported someone had used a fraudulent card to buy parts.

2:18 p.m.: A woman asked to speak to an officer about her ex harassing her.

3:37 p.m.: A woman reported she and her boyfriend were fighting. An officer spoke to them.

3:58 p.m.: The theft of an iPad was reported at Sunsational Tanning Spa on East Main Street. 

5:07 p.m.: Police responded to Roland Way, where a 30-year-old man had a nail through the top of his hand. The nail was out when EMTs arrived. He was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center.
