Police Log: Man Chasing After Plow Driver with a Shovel

The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. When arrests are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Thursday, Jan. 2

5:51 p.m.: A caller reported a two-car crash on Fortune Boulevard. Air bags were deployed.

11:23 p.m.: Police responded to a house where a 38-year-old woman was reported to be out of control. Police arrested Kristina Brown, 38, of 5 Pheasant Cir., Apt. 6, Milford, on a charge of domestic assault and battery.

Friday, Jan. 3

12:04 a.m.: A caller said a large, dark pickup truck was in the middle of Hayward Street and might be broken down. Police responded. The driver ran out of gas, but was at that time ready to go.

12:14 a.m.: A caller said she was receiving harassing texts from an unknown number. She asked to speak to an officer.

12:43 a.m.: The Milford Highway Department asked police to remove two cars on Windsor Road. Police responded. One car was moved by the owner, and an officer reached the second owner, who said he or she would move it, too.

3:13 a.m.: Milford Highway asked police to remove a car on Winter Street. Police could not reach the owner. Police ticketed the car. The owner agreed to move the vehicle.

5:46 a.m.: An officer on Fruit Street reported a car was parked on the street. The officer reached the landlord, who was attempting to wake up the owner. Police spoke with the owners of the car, who said they would move it.

7:04 a.m.: An officer reported he had been struck by a plow truck, on Main at Pond streets.

9:02 a.m.: Milford Highway called police because a man was blowing snow into the road on Genoa Avenue, and then confronted the town workers.

9:32 a.m.: A caller on Mark Drive reported her car had been vandalized.

9:37 a.m.: A caller on Purdue Drive reported four residents had blown snow into the road.

11:58 a.m.: A caller on Ramble Road said a resident was chasing a plow driver with a shovel.

12:30 p.m.: A caller told police her mother was in the hospital, and in her absence, she was being harassed by a company that her mother owes money to. The company was telling her they planned to show up at the house.
