Police Log: Man Charged with Threatening with Knife; Wild Animal in the Wig Shop

The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Monday, Oct. 22

3:02 p.m.: Following a motor vehicle stop on East Main Street, police were seeking a summons to charge Elyse M. Salmon, 23, of 182 E. Main St., Milford, with allowing improper operation of a motor vehicle. Maurilio Campos, 29, of 182 E. Main St., was arrested and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and miscellaneous motor vehicle equipment violation.

3:56 p.m.: A caller reported a vehicle had struck a house as it was taking a corner near Milford Town Hall. Police left messages for the building inspector and a plumbing inspector. Police are seeking a summons to charge Margarita Jesus Namina Auqui, 19, of 4 No. Bow St., Apt. 3, Milford, with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

5:16 p.m.: A man walked in to police headquarters to report he had lost his wallet containing his gun license. He is a resident of Hopedale and was told to report the incident to his local police.

6:06 p.m.: Police responded to Kohl's for a report of shoplifting. Police arrested Martha Cevallos, 28, of 281 Hollis St., Apt. 2, Framingham, on a charge of shoplifting more than $100 by concealing merchandise.

8:41 p.m.: Police responded to McDonald's on South Main Street, where a loud group of teens was loitering. A caller said the group was yelling at passing cars. Police removed the teens.

Tuesday, Oct. 23

9:10 a.m.: State Police reported multiple calls about a crash on Interstate 495 north. The crash was just north of the 126 exit. Medflight was requested.

11:06 a.m.: A woman at Illusion Wigs reported the window was broken, and the "store is a mess." She waited in the parking lot at Milford Bicycle for police. Police secured the building and found no sign of forced entry. An officer determined the incident resulted from a "possible wild animal problem."

12:17 p.m.: A caller reported another man at the Sunoco on East Main Street had threatened him with a knife. Several officers responded. Police arrested Dennis H. McDonald, 49, of 12 Depot St., Bellingham, on a charge of assault with a dangerous weapon.

1:35 p.m.: A woman reported her father had made threats toward her about moving to school, at Framingham State University.

2:35 p.m.: A man walked in to police headquarters to report his girlfriend was threatening him.

4:29 p.m.: An officer reported he had removed skateboarding youths from Milford High School.
