Police Log: Man Charged for 'Open, Gross Lewdness' in Car Outside Shaw's

The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned, they do not indicate conviction.

Sunday, July 6

At 12 a.m., police received a report of fireworks going off in the area of Union and West streets. 

At 12:06 a.m., police received a report of a large party on Purchase Street at which there may have been underage drinking. Officers responded and found no parking violations, and that there was no underage drinking underway.

At 12:07 a.m., police received two reports of a loud party with fireworks in the area of Prospect Heights. 

At 12:09 a.m., police received a report of a large party on Jefferson Street.

At 1:08 a.m., police responded to West Street on a report of a female on foot running in and out of traffic toward the Upton town line. Officers were unable to find the person in the area.

At 1:38 a.m., police received a report of a loud party at a residence on Water Street. The party was disbursed prior to police arrival. 

At 2:07 a.m., a caller reported that man was trying to enter a vehicle on Hayward Street before fleeing the area on foot. Officers determined that the man walked from behind a garage on the road; the vehicle's doors were locked and officers checked the area but were unable to locate the man. 

At 6:13 a.m., police received a report of a vandalized vehicle on Harris Avenue. 

At 7:48 a.m., police and fire crews responded to a report of a rollover accident on Rte. I-495 southbound at Exit 19, the Rte. 109 exit off the highway. 

At 9:30 a.m., police responded to Kmart on Medway Road after Loss Prevention at the store reported a female was in custody for shoplifting. Police arrested Heather Bordreau, 37, of Milford, for shoplifting by concealing merchandise (second offense) and larceny of less than $200. 

At 1:29 p.m., police responded to Rosenfeld Park on Cedar Street after receiving a report that a 50-year-old male was hit in the head with a baseball. The man was reportedly conscious and alert upon police arrival, but was bleeding from the ear. The man was transported to the hospital for treatment. 

At 6:43 p.m., police responded to Shaw's on a report that a male party was in a silver SUV near the store and reportedly "touching himself in a sexual manner," according to police records. Police arrested Jose Dasilva, 38, of Milford, for lewd, wanton and lascivious conduct and for open and gross lewdness. 

At 7:31 p.m, police received a report from an "irate caller" regarding dirt bikes in the area of Mill Pond Circle, the riders of which were not wearing helmets. 

At 8:14 p.m., police received a report of fireworks near the area of Pheasant Circle. 

At 8:50 p.m., police received a report of a loud party on Princeton Drive.
