Police Log: Mailboxes Vandalized on Cormier Cir., Silver Hill Rd.

The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned, they do not indicate conviction.

Wednesday, June 25

At 6:27 a.m., a caller reported to Milford Police that his mailbox was destroyed overnight on Cormier Circle, and that it was the second time it has happened. The caller also reported that the driver-side mirror on her son's vehicle was missing. Extra checks were requested.

At 7:07 a.m., police received a report of vandalism behind the Milford Senior Center. 

At 7:43 a.m., police received a report that several mailboxes were broken on Silver Hill Road.

At 11:04 a.m., police received a report of low-hanging wires on Oliver Court. Verizon was notified. 

At 1:07 a.m., police responded to the area of the Purchase Street Cemetery, where several vehicles were moved and a large group of youths were removed from the quarries. 

At 1:46 p.m., police received a report of vandalism to new construction at the Blaire House Nursing Home on Claflin Street. Extra patrols of the area were requested due to the vandalism and police obtaining surveillance footage that shows two males on camera breaking into the property. 

At 4:35 p.m., a caller reported telephone wires down in the area of West and West Maple streets. 

At 5:13 p.m., police received a report that someone had smashed the front sign of McDonald's on Medway Road. 

At 10:17 p.m., police received a report from Dunkin Donuts that the operator of a vehicle was heavily intoxicated and headed toward East Main Street. Holliston police were notified, and officers checked the area of Medway Road and East Main Street but were unable to locate the vehicle.
