Police Log: Loud TV, Not a Domestic

Sunday, Aug. 19

5:37 p.m.: A woman asked to speak to an officer about a vehicle that had been seized.

6:02 p.m.: A caller reported "loud music all day" on School Street.

7:00 p.m.: The Fire Department reported someone had walked in to the Spruce Street station, possibly suffering from anaphalactic shock. The person was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center.

7:17 p.m.: A caller on Water Street reported a white Cherokee was speeding up the street, toward Main Street. Police couldn't locate the vehicle.

7:29 p.m.: A caller reported a "loud party" with music going on on Hollis Street. Police spoke to the people.

9:39 p.m.: A caller on Canali Drive said a man came out of the woods, into the cul de sac, then went back into the woods. Police found nothing in the area, just an older man who lives in the area who was walking at night.

11:28 p.m.: A loud party was reported behind Thayer Street. Police spoke to the people.

Monday, Aug. 20

12:28 a.m.: A car was observed at trying to get gasoline after closing hours. Police spoke to the driver.

2:39 a.m.: Police responded to Littlefield Road, where a caller said eight shots were fired in the area. Police could not find anything.

3:40 a.m.: A caller reported she found a 17-year-old boy in the bedroom with her 15-year-old daughter. The girl had invited the boy over. The boy was taken to his house by an officer.

12:06 p.m.: A caller on Harding Street said he could hear a male and a female "yelling" at the location. An officer found no issue, just a "mother with the TV turned up loud."

1:41 p.m.: A person walked in to police headquarters to speak to an officer about harassment on Facebook.
