Police Log: Laptop Found in Dumpster, Man Arrested on Warrant

The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned, they do not indicate conviction.

Wednesday, April 2

At 8:43 a.m., Milford Police responded to Country Side Road, where they arrested Theodore Pines, 24, of North Grafton, on a warrant. 

At 12:44 p.m., a caller reported she found a laptop in the dumpster behind Weight Watchers on East Main Street, and that it looked suspicious. Officers responded and found no suspicious activity involved.

At 1:52 p.m., police received a report that a man was blowing dirt into the roadway on Pearl Street. Police determined after looking into the matter that it was the Milford Highway Department cleaning the street. 

At 3:34 p.m., police received a report of vandalism on Oliver Street.

At 4:08 p.m., police received a report from a woman who said her son stole her prescription drugs and took her vehicle, described as a blue Chevrolet SUV.

At 9:47 p.m., police responded to a report of a two-car accident in the area of Peter's Market on Purchase Street. 

At 10:19 p.m., police received a report from staff at Peter's Market regarding a man in the store who refused to leave and appeared to be highly intoxicated. Officers responded to transport the man home.
