Police Log: Youths on the Roof of Memorial Elementary

Thursday, Aug. 2
3:21 p.m.: A man asked to speak to an officer about his brother not allowing anyone into his parents' house to remove items.
5:12 p.m.: Police received a tip that a man wanted on a warrant was at a Congress Street address. Police arrested Alan Wooding Jr., 34, of 58 Congress St., Apt. 7, Milford, on a warrant.

6:11 p.m.: A woman walked in to police headquarters to speak to an officer about recovering "belongings that were taken" from her. Police are seeking a summons to charge John A. Tennaro, 46, of 5 Stallbrook Rd., Milford, with larceny over $250.
7:11 p.m.: Firefighters and police responded to , where a 28-year-old woman was feeling lightheaded and dizzy due to exposure to carbon dioxide. The incident was a result of "an industrial accident" at the plant. The woman was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center.

8:24 p.m.: Police received a report that five or six youths were on the roof of . Two officers responded. The police spoke to the youths. "They have been advised not to trespass and have been sent on their way."
8:37 p.m.: The officers reported removing a group of youths "trespassing" in front of
9:05 p.m.: Three or four men were reported to be arguing at Fruit and South Main streets. An officer reported the issue was over parking. All parties were spoken to.
10:18 p.m.: A caller reported a Toyota 4-Runner ran a red light on Cedar Street at Dilla Street, then was "swerving all over the road."
Friday, Aug. 3
1:02 a.m.: An ambulance responded to parking lot on Prospect Street, where a man was passed out near the laundromat side. He was taken to the hospital.
5:47 a.m.: A caller reported a vehicle break-in on Nolan Avenue.
7:27 a.m.: Police helped a woman at on Prospect Street, who was lost and could not get her car started. An officer was able to get the car started.
7:35 a.m.: A caller on Congress Terrace reported a man with a grey ponytail was "outside on his porch, naked." Police checked the neighborhood but could not find anyone "of that description."
7:59 a.m.: Vandalism was reported on Pearl Street.
8:44 a.m.: A caller reported his GPS was stolen from his car, on Claflin Street.
10:35 a.m.: A man walked in to police headquarters to report a man had shown up at his house, trying to repossess his vehicle. He asked to speak to an officer, because he said it was not legitimate.
11:15 a.m.: Suspicious activity was reported on Quinchapaug Road, involving two men and a woman. Police were speaking to a man "that has been camping in the woods."
1:13 p.m.: A caller on Vine Street reported several things were stolen from vehicles overnight.
