Police Log: Kids Fighting in the Pool, Out-of-Towners at the Quarries

Wednesday, July 17

4:36 p.m.: A manager at Casey Memorial Pool said a mother had struck a child at the pool. Police responded and determined the issue was siblings fighting in the pool, and the mother had spoken to both.

5:47 p.m.: A caller asked police to help keep the peace while he picked up his children. The woman would not give the children to the man.

7:06 p.m.: A caller near Planet Fitness said a man was slumped over the wheel of a tractor-trailer truck behind the building. Police spoke to him.

7:40 p.m.: Police reported finding nine vehicles parked in the back of the Wendy's parking lot, all registered to people in surrounding towns including Hopkinton, Medfield, Holliston or Millis. The occupants were thought to be using the quarries.

8:07 p.m.: A caller asked to speak to an officer about his child's well-being.

10:13 p.m.: A BOLO came in from Framingham reporting a car-jacking in that town where a rifle was shown.

Thursday, July 18

9:49 a.m.: A woman reported she was in a parking lot at Milford District Court when the man who she has a restraining order against started yelling at her. He had since entered the court house. She was waiting with security. Police responded and arrested Jason Michael Demars, 30, of 81 Wayside RD., Worcester, on a charge of violating an abuse prevention order.

10:10 a.m.: Police arrested Damien J. Tripodi, 28, of 180 Colwell RD., Harrisville, RI, on two warrants.

10:58 a.m.: A caller at McDonald's on South Main Street said she got into a fight with her son's grandmother.
