Police Log: Kid Refuses to go to School, Woman Digs Through Trash
The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.
Tuesday, Sept. 11
1:15 p.m.: A man was reported to be walking in the road on Winter Street, causing traffic problems. He was moved along.
6:04 p.m.: A caller at Bank of America on Prospect Street said a white Subaru wagon driven by a man in his 50s was watching people go in and out of the ATM area. Police responded and learned the man was a landscaper and was working.

9:41 p.m.: A Green Street resident reported his upstairs neighbor was playing music loudly and banging around. Police spoke to the neighbor.
9:52 p.m.: Police received a noise complaint from 37 S. Main St.

10:12 p.m.: A woman went to the to report her ex-boyfriend was sending her threatening text messages. She did not want to get a restraining order.
11:02 p.m.: Police arrested Ashley M. Heffron, 22, of 4 Clover Ln., Medway, on Pine Street, on a warrant.
Wednesday, Sept. 12
5:11 a.m.: A man was reportedly asking for money at Dunkin' Donuts on Medway Road. Police responded and the man was gone.
7:53 a.m.: Police responded to Hayward Street for a child who did not want to go to school.
8:17 a.m.: A woman was reportedly going through the trash on Richmond Avenue.
10:19 a.m.: A woman and a man were possibly passing fake prescriptions at CVS on South Main Street. Police responded and filed a report.
12:26 p.m.: A caller reported hearing gun shots on Emerson Lane. Police checked; all was OK.
