Police Log: Items Stolen from Cars, Man Circling a House with Dog
The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. When arrests are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.
Tuesday, Oct. 15
7:40 p.m.: EMTs responded to Rite Aid Pharmacy where a woman had passed out near the pharmacy, possibly of a diabetic emergency.
8:03 p.m.: A woman walked in to police headquarters and told an officer she was being threatened by her son's girlfriend's friends.
9:07 p.m.: A woman wanted her boyfriend removed from her apartment, following an argument. Police responded.
9:54 p.m.: A caller on Orchard Street said she could hear children screaming. There was currently no noise. An officer said to call back if she hears it again.
10:27 p.m.: A caller asked police to check on his brother, who was acting erratically. He was talking very religiously and that wasn't like him.
10:33 p.m.: Police received a noise complaint about a tractor-trailer in the parking lot of Planet Aid on Sumner Street, with its engine running. An officer responded and told two tractor-trailer drivers that they could not park there.
11:34 p.m.: A woman called police and said she had just been told in a phone call that her daughter had taken a bunch of pills. Police responded. The younger woman was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center.
Wednesday, Oct. 16
8:14 a.m.: A man was causing a disturbance with a woman outside a Main Street apartment.
9:12 a.m.: A caller said a car was operating at a low rate of speed on East Main Street, crossing double yellow lines and driving on the sidewalk. It was registered to a man in Framingham. Police were not able to locate the vehicle.
11:15 a.m.: A woman walked in to police headquarters and said she was being harassed by a man.
12:30 p.m.: Milford Regional Medical Center asked for help in dealing with a patient who was unruly and causing a disturbance. Three officers responded.
1:26 p.m.: A man walked in to police headquarters and said his wallet was stolen from his locked car overnight, on Lawrence Street. Police filed a report.
1:50 p.m.: A caller on Correia Circle said her husband's vehicle was broken into overnight, and some change and money stolen. This happened within the past few days.
3:08 p.m.: A caller on Main Street said her daughter's ex-boyfriend was circling the house with a pit bull dog. Police responded.
3:57 p.m.: A woman walked in to police headquarters and said she was a victim of fraud.
4:35 p.m.: A man walked in to police headquarters and said his wallet was stolen from his motor vehicle sometime overnight.
