Police Log: Intoxicated Men Stumbling into Traffic

Thursday, Aug. 1
5:57 p.m.: A loss prevention employee at Hannaford's Supermarket said they had a man stopped for shoplifting.
8:46 p.m.: A caller reported someone had left a tire on the side of the road on Congress Street, and a can of paint. An officer determined the objects weren't obstructing the road.
10:22 p.m.: A caller near Cedar Street Mobil said a man in a white truck was yelling out of the window at her while she was waiting at the light off I-495.
10:59 p.m.: A caller at Milford Regional Medical Center said a man had high blood alcohol levels and was threatening to drive. Police spoke to him.
Friday, Aug. 2
12:15 a.m.: A disturbance was reported at 7-Eleven. Three men who were intoxicated were walking into traffic on Main Street.
12:25 a.m.: A caller on Grove Street said she could hear a lot of yelling and slamming, and people outside arguing.
1:13 a.m.: A disturbance was reported at the dam on Pine Island Road. A group of youths was causing a disturbance. Police spoke to the youths and said they would be heading home.
8:59 a.m.: Following a motor vehicle stop near Dunkin Donuts on Medway Road, police are seeking a summons to charge Iris M. Furtado, 33, of 28 Oliver St., Apt. A, Milford, with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and having no inspection sticker.
11:15 a.m.: A caller said the Oakridge Village apartments have a person living in the storage room. The person seems to be there between 11 p.m. and 8 a.m.
11:53 a.m.: A man reported someone had taken money from his bank account. Police are seeking a summons to charge Christopher Chase, 26, of 36 Grove St., Milford, on a charge of larceny over $250 by false pretense.
12:48 p.m.: A caller reported a co-worker is harassing another co-worker.
1:02 p.m.: A caller said they could hear a child screaming on Chestnut Street. Police checked and everything was OK.
2:12 p.m.: A caller asked police to remove a person from the business.
