Police Log: Honda and VW 'Drag Racing' on Main Street

The following information was supplied by the Milford police department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Milford police received a complaint about two drivers, in a Honda and a Jetta, racing down Main Street Tuesday night, and responded to a report from a patient at the hospital that his girlfriend had taken all his money using a debit card.

Tuesday, June 12

4:09 p.m.: A caller said she is receiving internet based threats, regarding an incident that took place in the past.

4:22 p.m.: A female shoplifter was detained by security. Police responded bu the incident was going to be handled by Kmart.

6:54 p.m: A noise complaint came in on Jefferson Street.

6:59 p.m.: A caller reported a Honda and a VW Jetta were "drag racing down Main Street" from Hopedale. The VW took a right on to Franklin Street, and the Honda proceeded down Main Street toward

10:15 p.m.: Police received a report of a disturbance on Church Street. Police are seeking a summons to charge Samuel John Mancuso, 21, of 10 Broad St., Milford, with breaking and entering a building in the nighttime for a felony. Police also are seeking a summons to charge Kiel R. Darcy, 21, of 20 Tia, Apt. PL, Franklin, with breaking and entering in the nighttime for a felony.

Wednesay, June 13

12:46 a.m.: Following a motor vehicle stop on Grant Street, police were seeking a summons to charge Mark A. Macrae, 44, of 5 Grant St., Milford, with having an unregistered motor vehicle and an uninsured motor vehicle.

1:29 a.m.: A caller reported a deer in the road on Medway Road.

2:14 p.m.: A 911 hangup was received from . Police determined it was a child playing with a phone.

2:50 p.m.: A caller from reported his girlfriend had taken his debit card and "used all the money." He was calling from the psychiatric unit in the emergency room. Police determined the man had given his card to the girl "and there is no crime at this time."
