Police Log: Glue in the Locks

In the latest edition of the police log, officers responded to a report of a runaway teen, and to a report that a dog was being neglected.
Tuesday, Jan. 10
5:25 p.m.: Police responded to on Medway Road for a report of a man and a woman, reportedly shoplifting. Police determined nothing had been taken, but spoke to the two.

7:33 p.m.: A caller from Riverside Community Care reported a 15-year-old had run away from Hamilton House. The girl was seen going into Rite Aid on Medway Road by a tow truck driver. She was returned to the residence.
8:01 p.m.: A person walked in to police headquarters and asked to speak to an officer about a nude picture of him someone posted on Facebook.

Wednesday, Jan. 11
7:34 a.m.: A two-car crash was reported on West Fountain Street. No injuries were involved.
7:35 a.m.: Police and firefighters responded to West Fountain Street for a report of a two-car crash near . An ambulance also responded. Two people were taken to
7:45 a.m.: A resident of Purchase Street reported a dead animal in front of his home and asked to have the number of the animal control officer.
9:27 a.m.: Firefighters responded to , where a teacher was needing a medical transport for an injury.
9:59 a.m.: A caller on Grant Street told police someone had put glue in the locks on his house. The caller reported "he has had multiple issues in the past."
10:12 a.m.: A two-car crash was reporte on Medway Road near No injury was involved.
2:21 p.m.: A two-car crash was reported on Main Street. No injuries were reported.
2:32 p.m.: Animal control asked for police assistance in responding to a report of a dog tied with no shelter outside on Westley Court. The dog was outside, tied on a short leash.
