Police Log: Father Wanted a Boy, not Girl; Unauthorized Grilling
The following information was supplied by the Milford police department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.
Milford police responded to several reports of disturbances, including a group supposedly fighting on Water Street, and checked out a report that a man was threatening to kill his kids and himself, distraught over the birth of a daughter.
Sunday, June 10
5:32 p.m.: A two-car crash with no injury was reported on Cedar at Dilla streets.

5:34 p.m.: A woman asked to speak to an officer about an unauthorized charge on her bank account.
6:24 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to Walden Woods, where seven or eight kids were on the lawn across from an address, "grilling."

9:28 p.m.: Police received a call from a man in Framingham, who said his brother-in-law in Milford, on Green Street, had threatened to kill "his three children, then himself." The police narrative: "States his sister called his mother telling her this information. According to the caller, the male in question wishes to do this because he had recently had a daughter, and he wanted a boy." Police responded, and filed a report. No arrest was reported.
9:58 p.m.: A caller reported seeing a large group of people on Water Street, possibly fighting, "putting eachother in headlocks and staring eachother down." Police arrived and determined it "was just a couple of friends fooling around."
Monday, June 11
5:10 a.m.: A caller reported the door to the bandstand at was open. Police secured it.
7:11 a.m.: A caller on Kraft Road told police a black SUV was parked in front of the location since 6:55 a.m. Police determined it was a limo, waiting to do a pickup in the neighborhood.
8:02 a.m.: A caller reported seeing a young girl on West Walnut Street, "looking into the windows of all of the parked cars." The girl was gone when police arrived.
1:29 p.m.: A piece of equipment hit a vehicle on Fruit Street. No injury was reported.
2:54 p.m.: A woman reported a past domestic. Police are seeking a summons to charge Peter Carrillo, 32, of 50 Shrewsbury Green Dr., Apt. B, Shrewsbury, with assault and battery.
