Police Log: Father Threatening to Burn Son's Clothing

The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, March 27

4:06 p.m.: A caller reported someone had stolen a purse from the EZ Laundromat. Keys to a car were in the purse.

4:11 p.m.: A caller reported a man in his 20s was passing out at Ultimate Tanning. He was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center.

4:13 p.m.: A caller told police that two young kids were skateboarding at the rear entrance of the near the gym. Police told the skateboarders to stop, and they were leaving the area.

4:44 p.m.: After receiving a complaint, police are seeking a summons to charge Tina Bettuelli, 42, of Church St., Whitinsville, with larceny by check under $250 and credit card fraud over $250.

4:48 p.m.: A caller on Beach Street Extension reported someone was learning to drive outside, and the driving teacher was not in the vehicle. She was concerned that her vehicle might be struck.

5:23 p.m.: A woman walked in to police headquarters to report her daughter had run away. The 15-year-old later was located by two officers. Her parents spoke to police.

6:31 p.m.: A caller reported a man driving a car attempted to squeeze by her car while she was waiting to turn left on West at Congress streets, and side-swiped her. She requested a log entry.

7:19 p.m.: Firefighters responded to a report of smoke on Johnson Court. A fire in the kitchen was extinguished. One person at the home was evaluated for smoke exposure.

7:33 p.m.: A caller reported she had lost her phone and a device tracker located it on Hillcrest. About the same time, a man came into police headquarters to turn in an iPhone he found in the street. It matched the description she gave.

7:55 p.m.: A woman walked in to police headquarters to speak to an officer about an assault. Police faxed an arrest warrant to Marlborough Police. Hector Guzman, 37, of 153 Broad St. Apt. A, Marlborough, is to be arrested on a charge of domestic assault and battery.

8:13 p.m.: A woman asked to speak to an officer about threats. She said her boyfriend's father was threatening to burn his clothes. Neither she or the boyfriend were in the area, and wanted to speak to an officer when they came back into Milford.

8:38 p.m.: A two-car crash was reported on Fortune Boulevard, near TGI Fridays. A woman who called police reported neck pain.

11:16 p.m.: A Milford police detective was enroute to Marlborough to transport a prisoner back to Milford Police headquarters.

Thursday, March 28

7:01 a.m.: Following a motor vehicle stop on Congress Street, police arrested Luciano Alves Nunes, 37, of 16 Claudette Dr., Apt. 2, Milford, on charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and speeding.

8:52 a.m.: A man walked into police headquarters to report someone had struck his stone wall on Spruce Street, and asked an officer to take a look. About the same time, police received a call from a woman who said her daughter hit the wall, and then was nervous so took off, and left the car at her boyfriend's house. The car driver was advised to come into the police station to speak to an officer.

9:22 a.m.: A man reported ongoing issues with his neighbor.

10:32 a.m.: A man reported he had found a purse around Franklin and Grove streets.
