Police Log: Egg Throwing and an Arrest for Possession of Class A Drugs

At 00:14 p.m., police responded to a call stating that caller’s friend had lost her iPhone earlier in the night at the Portuguese Picnic at the Portuguese Club at Prospect Heights. It has a orange and pink cover on it.


At 8:02 p.m., police responded to a call reporting a man and a woman screaming at an address on Water Street. The caller said the disturbances were coming from the building’s top apartment. Officers found it to be a small argument.

At 10:56 a.m., police responded to reports of a motor vehicle fire on Walden Way. The vehicle was a red Chevrolet and the fire was knocked down.


At 12:24 p.m., police responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Prospect Street. A blue Mercedes and a grey Toyota pick-up truck were involved.

At 12:35 p.m., police responded to a call reporting a male party possible breaking into a house on Pearl Street. A male party from Salem was arrested for possession of a Class A drug.


At 1:24 p.m., police responded to reports of a hit and run. The male caller said that his motorcycle was struck while he was inside the Workforce Central Career Center on Fortune Boulevard.


At 2:21 p.m., police responded to a call from the park on Congress Street reporting skateboarders at the basketball court disturbing benches. Officers spoke with a few children there, advising them not to ride on the courts or the benches.


At 3:01 p.m., police responded to two calls reporting a motor vehicle accident on Pearl Street. The calls reported a dark colored vehicle having gone into the island. A tow was requested and officers found a fire hydrant was struck with minor damage. The Water Company was notified.


At 4:01 p.m., police responded to a caller requesting officers to come to her address on Otis Street. The caller asked officers to remove her ex-husband from the property, stating she had not opened the door to him or spoken to him. The officers advised the male to go back to probate court.


At 6:16 p.m., police received a call reporting 3 or 4 males in a white or silver sedan throwing eggs out of the window at vehicles on Fiske Mill Road. Upton Police Department was notified as the vehicle was headed in their direction.


At 8:55 p.m., police responded to a call reporting around 6 men causing a disturbance in a parking lot on Central Street. The caller states they were drinking and yelling.


At 11:54 p.m., police responded to multiple calls reporting a motor vehicle accident on Colonial Road and Congress Street. Officer found a green Dodge vehicle with two flat tires. Art’s Towing was called to take care of the vehicle.
