Police Log: Driver Throwing Beer Cans out the Window, Domestic Incidents

The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, July 26

6:46 p.m.: An officer responded to a report of a disabled vehicle on Medway Road. Police are seeking a summons to charge Sofia Guaman, 26, of 20 Main St., Apt. 2, Milford, with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

8:31 p.m.: A caller reported her husband was trying to break down the door to her bedroom. He was verbally arguing with their son and her mother. He left the house and headed toward Hopkinton in his truck. Police filed a report.

9:32 p.m.: A caller with a language barrier reported a fight in the parking lot of Imperial Buffet. Police arrived as the line disconnected. An officer took a woman back to the Milford Police headquarters. 

9:45 p.m.: A Toyota Corolla was repossessed on Cherry Street.

10:43 p.m.: Upton Police reported an attempted breaking and entering in their town, and the man fled the scene. A BOLO was issued.

Saturday, July 27

2:00 a.m.: A caller reported a crash between two drivers on Dilla at Cedar streets. The two drivers then became aggressive and appeared to be drunk, he said. Police responded but both cars were gone.

2:36 a.m.: A detective reported a street light had been struck on Main Street in a possible hit-and-run.

3:16 a.m.: A Chevrolet Town and Country van was repossessed on East Street.

10:56 a.m.: A caller said he found a wallet in his fenced-in backyard.

11:12 a.m.: A caller said a man driving a Toyota Camry on Medway Road threw a few beer cans out the window, and was all over the road, and appeared to be intoxicated.

11:38 a.m.: A woman reported both of her cars were keyed overnight, on Senate Road.

3:20 p.m.: A caller said loud music was coming from behind a house on Luby Avenue.

5:45 p.m.: An officer asked for firefighters to respond to an illegal burning on Highland Street.

6:36 p.m.: A caller on Walden Way reported a bunch of kids just went toward the quarries.

7:01 p.m.: A caller dropped off a license he found while walking his dog.

8:24 p.m.: A woman said she was being harassed by a woman who lives in the Rolling Green complex.

8:35 p.m.: A woman on East Main Street said a man was fighting with her boyfriend and she wanted him removed. Police responded but the man had left.

9:30 p.m.: A complaint of loud music came in from Draper Park.

9:52 p.m.: A complaint of loud music came in from Westbrook Street.

Sunday, July 28

12:21 a.m.: A caller reported loud music was coming from Briar Drive.

12:52 a.m.: A caller said kids were playing basketball on Dogwood Lane.

1:56 a.m.: Following a motor vehicle stop on Congress at Pleasant streets, police arrested Jose Guaman, 34, of 32 Congress St., Apt. 3, Milford, on charges of OUI liquor, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and a motor vehicle lights violation.

6:08 a.m.: A caller reported a woman appeared to be passed out in a black SUV at Lowe's. 

8:36 a.m.: Two officers arrested Keri L. Spear, 18, of 62 Forest St., Apt. 2, Milford, on a warrant for a probation violation.

9:04 a.m.: A caller reported glass and debris in the road on Grove Street. Police found it was a bunch of plastic spoons, and could wait.
